Who is the face
of Dent Techs?

Sean's passion in this industry began when he worked for his cousin, Barry Wentz with Dents Be Gone. Here he learned the craft of PDR and was properly trained on successful dent removal techniques.

Sean Laukhuff

A.K.A. Master of Dents and Having Fun

Sean is the founder, President, and CEO of Dent Techs, Inc., Manheim, PA. He is a graduate of Hempfield High School, and served our country in the National Guard for ten years.

Sean completed Vale National Training and was certified in Paintless Dent Repair.

Dent Techs, Inc. was officially born in 1999, as a one-man mobile operation. Sean began working with local body shops and dealerships to provide dent removal services. Soon enough, he met other technicians in the industry that were traveling the country, repairing vehicles from the hail damage storms left behind them. This intrigued Sean. For the next ten years his journey and expertise took him around the world, chasing hail storms throughout the Midwest, Australia, and New Zealand.

By 2012, Sean decided to stop chasing storms and begin working closer to home, mostly with dealerships and body shops in the Lancaster area. He opened his first shop in East Petersburg, to be able to offer his services to local residents. It was Wayne's Towing that gave him this chance, to whom he is forever grateful. It was exactly the opportunity he needed, providing him with a space to work his magic and begin building his local reputation.

Today Dent Techs is located in Manheim, PA. Sean’s reputation and expertise have positioned him as the go-to Paintless Dent Repair Master Craftsman and facility in Lancaster county.

Spend a few moments with Sean and you will quickly learn he is seriously smitten on a few things: Bongo, Ashlynn, and living every day to its fullest. Bongo is Sean’s sidekick . . . his dapper little Westie that shares his living space. Ashlynn, is the apple of his eye. One glance and you immediately know Ashlynn is his daughter, a true mini me to Sean and a daddy’s girl. He couldn’t possibly be prouder of her, bragging on her every chance he gets. She is a beautiful and amazing young lady, a devoted college student, and an aspiring nurse.

Sean is undeniably multi-talented. He’s not just another pretty face. He’s also got the moves, baby! Sean loves disco dancing and karaoke! He loves to relax and have a good time. Sean also enjoys his new toy, his boat on the river where he goes to relax, socialize with friends, and do a little wakeboarding. You may also catch him snowboarding, golfing, playing pool, or remodeling his home in his spare time. There is never a dull moment with Sean, that is for sure!

Giving back
to his community

Sean would have a hard time denying his huge heart and amazing capacity for giving...

Maybe it was years of chasing storms and seeing their devastating aftermath, or maybe it was becoming a dad that led him to another passion. But Sean definitely takes pride in giving back and helping those less fortunate than himself.

Sean and his team at Dent Techs organized a relief effort to help the victims of the tornado that ravaged Oklahoma City in 2013. He urged local residents to join them in providing some relief for the families. He had witnessed the devastation left behind while he was chasing storms with his business. Not only did they gather supplies and equipment, filling a trailer, but they personally drove them to the sites and delivered them to whom he calls his friends of the Midwest.

Dent Techs is also a proud supporter of Alyssa’s Bedtime Stories, a charity begun by a young local girl. Their mission is to provide books to children without homes, in the hopes of opening a window into a better world for them through stimulating their imaginations.

Recently Sean has decided to focus on another cause near and dear to his heart. He is organizing charity events for the community, with the hopes of raising awareness and money to support the Wounded Warriors Project, a non-profit organization that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for wounded veterans of the military.

But Sean doesn't stand alone...

"Chaddo"

Chad Montgomery

Master Craftsman

Chad was born and raised in Lancaster county. He came to Dent Techs in 2011, from years of experience in the auto body industry. He is PDR-certified and has his Vale Master Craftsman’s certification.

It’s no surprise that Chad and Sean are close friends and colleagues. Chad is heavily involved in the community and just a downright good guy, with a big heart. When he is not working, Chad enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, camping, boating, golfing, and motorcycles.

“Fancie Pants”

Andy Yellets

Technician

Yes you read that right . . . Fancie Pants! Andy’s endearing nickname. You will have to take that one up with Andy, and well, maybe Sean.

Andy also joined the Dent Tech’s team in 2013. Sean taught Andy many of the tricks of the trade, and now Andy is an exceptional PDR technician. To Andy, there is no excuse for laziness or incompetence. He is well-known for being extra particular. Actually . . . downright anal retentive, to those that know and love him. A true perfectionist. But in this business? That is exactly the guy you want on your side. If and when Andy relaxes a little, he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, playing softball, and spending time with his family.
